If Facebook were a state, it would be the largest in the world. What kind of constitution governs it? Who gets to decide it? Who doesn't get a voice on it? The book problematises Facebook's opaque and undemocratic structures of governance, representation and censorship.

The project was developed at 'The Facebook State', a session which I led as part of the New World Academy: Stateless Democracy. The session was hosted at the Willem de Koning Academie in Rotterdam, with students from the Critical Studies program.
