Dislocated Concert

Presented at various locations

Plastic Crowds was an artist collective founded in 2013 by Manuel Beltrán, Braulio Iglesias, Manuel Martínez, Eva Yarza and Marta Yarza.

It's work was horizontally organised and mainly focused in the publication of an art magazine where people from different disciplines worked together reflecting on a given editorial theme. The collective also developed large-scale projects such as the Dislocated Concert.

Dislocated Concert was a transnational concert, crowd-written and performed from different locations simultaneously through the internet.

A performance mixing music, scenery and videography in which we separate the different sections of an orchestra in different places around Spain. The musicians played simultaneously the same piece without hearing the others. The groups receive instructions from the conductor through a streaming.
